Therefore, there are many students stressed out should universities start let them go back to universities for classes or should they maintain online classes?

It can be seen that since the outbreak of the epidemic, students have been taking online classes at home. It can be seen that they have gradually become accustomed to this teaching method, but some of the students are still eager to go back to school.

However, according to this situation, what the students are thinking after all they have not gone back to school for a long time.

Let’s take a look at what students think about whether physical classes should be implemented in the surging of the Covid-19 epidemic.

Yong Shu Xian says going back to campus after Chinese New Year is dangerous, it makes her feel worry and stress.

Yong Shu Xian, 22, from Han Chiang University College student said she is inevitable that there will be worries and it is likely to return to the situation of previous MCO lockdown the whole country.

In her opinion, she said going back to campus after Chinese New Year is dangerous.

“The school must be a base where students came from different states to gathering, and there is still a high risk to some extent.

“If the local cases were still declining before the Chinese New Year, then I would be willing to go back but when I saw the number of local cases gradually soared to exceed 10,000, I would refuse to go back to campus at this time.

“I hope school can temporarily observe Covid-19 cases, and don’t make a rush decision that suddenly let students go back without any signs.

“If it is possible, the school can notice students one month in advance to let outside state students have some time to prepare. I think it is the best to take win-win actions if possible,” she said.

E Jia Xi says it is quite dangerous right now and her hometown, Kedah, is almost every day someone she knows is diagnosed with Covid-19.

Besides, E Jia Xi, from Han Chiang University College said she understand that there is a need for students to come back to the campus, but she thinks that it always depends on the situation and the will of the students, it must not be a mandatory.

She said it is quite dangerous right now and especially in the state of Kedah now almost every day someone she knows is diagnosed with the Covid-19.

“I hope the school can give students different plans for right now situation and set more rules for epidemic prevention, preferably to provide student inspections if school need us to go back,” she said.

Cheryl is a science student so she thinks that some of the students need to take physical classes, it will be more convenient on the classes.

Moreover, UTM Bioprocess Engineering student Cheryl Yoo Ze Ling said it depends on how many students the school allows to return back.

“Personally, because I am the science student, so I think that some students need to take physical classes, such as experiments class and it is necessary to go back to school. For those students who can take classes online, schools should not let them return back to school.

“To put it simply, if the number of people returning to school can be controlled and students are urged to take epidemic prevention measures, it is correct.

“Conversely, if the school simply asks all the students to return to school, it is incorrect,” she said.

As can see that, there are few students stressed out to go back school but only one of the students did not stress out and panic for going back to school right now.

However, the latest situation needs to wait until Education Minister and Health Minister to give the students a solution, and then students will consider whether to return to campus for physical classes.
